Use the following guidelines when selecting a location for your reader:
•
Select a location convenient for the customer.
•
Select a location near the controlling device for the contactless unit.
For safety, do not string cables or cords across a walkway.
Avoid placing metallic objects at the front and around the card reader.
The front panel of the device is dustproof and fade-proof. The UX400 is also
water-resistant, according to IP65 ratings.
