Connecting the power supply
24 V DC power supply
The power supply to the CMK2000 device is made using an external 24 V DC supply for the
LOGO! side.
Note
The CMK2000 bridges brief voltage interruptions (< 1.5 ms) in its 24 V DC supply without
influencing the function. Longer voltage interruptions must be buffered by an appropriate
power supply unit, e.g. from the LOGO!Power series.

Connection to safety extra-low voltage / protective extra-low voltage only

The device is designed for operation using directly connectable safety extra-low voltage
(SELV) with safe electrical isolation according to IEC 60950-1 / EN 60950-1 / VDE 0805-1.
The following applies to use in North America: The power supply unit for supplying the
device with power must comply with NEC Class 2 in accordance with National Electrical
Code (ANSI / NFPA 70).
You must only connect the supply terminals and the process and communication signals
(including Ethernet) to safety extra-low voltages (SELV) with safe electrical isolation (Class
2 Power Supply in North America).
