To check brushes: Disconnect battery pack
from tool. Remove brush cover at the rear part
of housing by loosening screws (Fig. 6).

Insert a screwdriver or similar object into the
red notch of the carbon brush and lift out the
brushes; note which way they face, so that the
brushes can be returned to their original
position. Clean the brush holder openings with
compressed air or a clean cloth and replace
the brushes and brush covers.
After replacing brushes the tool should be run
at no-load and run it freely at full speed for 2
minutes before using the tool. This will allow
