Chimney sweep button (flue gas test)

NOTICE:
System damage due to incorrect use and deactivated functions!
A supply of heat from the heating system cannot be ensured for the
duration of the flue gas test. The functions are disconnected from the
control so that removal of heat cannot be ensured.
▶ The
key and therefore the Flue gas test must only be operated
by qualified persons and the chimney sweep.
WARNING:
Risk of scalding from hot water!
Setting the set temperature > 60 °C creates a risk of scalding.
▶ Do not draw off DHW unmixed.
To perform the flue gas test:
▶ Observe the relevant national requirements for limiting flue losses
from the heating system.
The Flue gas test is switched on if required at the heat source
( Technical documentation of heat source) or at the control unit.

The Flue gas test can only be started by the control unit that is assigned
to the heat source.
If the operating mode Manual or the Manual operation button
been set, the flue gas test has priority. Once the flue gas test is complete,
the control unit switches back to manual operation.
If the heat source is integrated into a cascade, it will not be available for
the cascade during the flue gas test. A different heat source goes into
operation, depending on the dependencies and settings of the cascade.
To ensure acceptance of heat in the heating system:
▶ Briefly press
key.
A message window opens to indicate the test is starting.
To cancel the operation:

The LED status display turns yellow ( Fig. 3, [4], page 7). The chimney
sweep and warning triangle symbols appear in the header of the system
overview and in the header of the heat source.
• The Flue gas test is performed using the values specified in Settings
(minimum/maximum boiler temperature, minimum/maximum
performance).
• The maximum boiler temperature cannot be changed in the Flue gas
test.
• The heat source emits heat, providing the flue gas test is not aborted
or automatically stopped, until the maximum boiler temperature set
is reached.
• If a preset parameter (e.g. minimum boiler output) is exceeded or
undercut when making the adjustment, a warning message appears
and must be confirmed. The parameter remains at the previous
value.
Single-stage heat source
▶ Tap Save.
The Flue gas test starts immediately.
Two-stage heat source
When using heat sources with two stages, the burner stage used to
perform the Flue gas test can be selected. The burner stage can be
modified during the flue gas test.
▶ Tap burner stage 1 or 2.
▶ Tap Save.
The Flue gas test starts immediately. In the first burner stage, the heat
source runs until it is stopped manually or automatically. If the second
burner stage is selected, the heat source moves to the second burner

automatically.
