About the Time Settings in Self Program
• The type and duration of massage actions in self program are determined according to different areas of
the body based on the time settings.
Order of Massage for Upper Body
• Areas are massaged in order of the longest to the shortest time setting.
• When two areas are set to the same time setting, the massage will proceed in order of the neck and
shoulders, the upper back and the lower back areas.
Order of Massage for Hands/Arms and Lower Body
• Massaged in order of lower body then hands and arms, regardless of time settings.
When the Time Setting is Zero
• An area of the body set at zero will not receive any massage. In the case of the upper body, however, the
massage heads may travel over that area as they move to the next massage area.
• The upper body will not receive any massage when all settings for the upper back, lower back, and neck
and shoulders are at zero.
