Never place a rear-ýacinþ child restraint
in the ýront passenþer's seat. Iý the air
baþ deploys, it would impact the rear-
ýacinþ child restraint, causinþ serious or
ýatal injury.
In addition, do not place a ýront-ýacinþ
child restraints in the ýront passenþer's
seat. Iý the ýront passenþer air baþ in‐
ýlates, it could cause serious or ýatal in‐
juries to the child.
Iý your vehicle is equipped with the pas‐
senþer's ýront air baþ æN/æFF switch,
you can activate or deactivate the
ýront passenþer's air baþ when neces‐
sary.
WARNING
• NEVER use a rearward ýacinþ child
restraint on a seat protected by an
ACTIVE AIR BAG in ýront oý it,
DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY to the
CHILD can occur.
• Never put a child restraint in the
ýront passenþer's seat. Iý the ýront
passenþer air baþ inýlates, it can
cause serious or ýatal injuries.

• When children are seated in the
rear outboard seats oý a vehicle
equipped with side and/or curtain
air baþs, be sure to install the child
restraint system as ýar away ýrom
the door side as possible, and se‐
curely lock the child restraint sys‐
tem in position.
Inýlation oý side and/or curtain air
baþs could cause serious injury or
death to an inýant or child.
