4. Push the piston pin into the piston and attach the
snap ring.
5. Put a new cylinder base gasket on the crankcase.
6. Attach the support plate from the piston assembly
Servicing tools on page 14 .

7. Use the clamp from the piston assembly kit to
compress the piston ring. Carefully push the piston
into the cylinder opening.
CAUTION: Do not turn the cylinder. The
piston rings break easily.
8. Tighten the 4 screws to the correct torque. Refer to
Servicing data on page 6 .

9. Assemble the remaining parts of the cylinder and
piston in the opposite sequence to how they were
disassembled. Refer to
and piston on page 46 .
7.10.6 To do a leak test of the cylinder
1. Turn the engine around its axle to get access to the
air filter.
2. Remove the air filter cover and the air filter.
