MEMORY OPERATION

Clearing a Memory channel

You can clear a no-longer-used memory channel
and reset it as a blank channel, except for the
Call channels (C1 and C2).
1. Select the Memory mode. (Basic Manual)
2. Assign the Select Memory Channel function
to
. (Basic Manual)
3. Rotate
to select the channel to clear.
(Example: channel 01 in group 01)
4. Touch the VFO/MEMORY icon.
5. Touch [M-CLR] for 1 second.

» MEMORY > Group 00 ~ 99, CALL CH
You can edit Memory channel contents on the
MEMORY screen.

1 G roup number: Group name
Displays the group number (00 ~ 99) and
name, if entered.
2 F requency
Displays the entered frequency.
3 O perating mode
Displays the selected operating mode.
4 M emory menu
Touch to display the MEMORY MENU screen.
LYou can select "Edit Name," "Memory Write," or
"Memory Clear."
5 M emory name
Displays the memory name, if entered.

6 M emory select icon (00 ~ 99)
� Touch this icon to set the Select number
"★1," "★2," "★3," or OFF.
LSee page 8-7 for the Select Memory scan.
� Touch the icon for 1 second to display the
SELECT ALL CLEAR screen, and then select
the desired item to reset the Select number.
7 M emory channel number
Displays the memory channel number (00 ~
99, C1, C2).
LC1 and C2 cannot be left blank.
TIP: About the QUICK MENU screen
While selecting a memory channel with memory
contents, push
screen. You can select SELECT, Edit Name,
Memory Write, Memory Copy, Insert Channel,
Move Channel, Memory Clear, Delete Channel,
or SELECT All Clear.
