Installing the Discharge Tunnel
(Rear Discharge Units)
1. Remove the nut, lock washer, and bushing from each
strut bolt. Do Not remove the strut bolts.

2. Remove the discharge tunnel from the sides of the
crate.
3. Place the discharge tunnel on top of the rear deck
flange. Make sure the tunnel goes into the notches
on each side of the deck.
4. Pull the strut bolts outward, from the frame tube,
just far enough to position the discharge tunnel tab.
5. Push the bolts back through the frame tube and
discharge tunnel. Reinstall the bushing, lock washer,
and nut.

Servicing the Engine

The engine is shipped with oil; check oil level and if
necessary fill to the appropriate level. Exmark 4-Cycle
Premium Engine Oil is recommended. Refer to the
Engine Owner's Manual for an acceptable alternative.
Servicing the Engine Coolant
The machine is shipped filled with engine coolant.
WARNING
Discharge of hot pressurized coolant or touching
hot radiator and surrounding parts can cause severe
burns.
• Do not remove the radiator cap when the engine
is hot. Always allow the engine to cool at least 15
minutes or until the radiator cap is cool enough
to touch without burning your hand before
removing the radiator cap.
• Do not touch radiator and surrounding parts
that are hot.
CAUTION
Engine coolant is toxic. Swallowing engine coolant
can cause poisoning.
• Do not swallow engine coolant.
• Keep out of reach from children and pets.
