Connect the Power Cord and Turn On the Machine

Connect the power cord into the rear socket and the wall
outlet and press the [I] side of the main power switch to
ON.
When restarting the machine, wait at least 0 seconds
before turning the main power back on.

The machine enters standby mode.
<LEFT COVER OPEN / CLOSE COVER> is displayed:

Make sure that the left cover is closed properly.
(See "Install Cartridge" on p. 4.)
<TONER IS NOT SET / INSERT TONER> is displayed:
●
Make sure that the toner cartridge is installed properly.
(See "Install Cartridge" on p. 4.)
<TONER LOW / PREPARE NEW TONER> is displayed:
●
If this message is displayed after a new toner cartridge
has been set in place, reset the toner cartridge after
shaking it slowly five, or six times. (See "Install Cartridge"
on p. 4.)
