Mounting the
Protective Devices
Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the power plug.
Protective Hood
The protective hood 5 must be mounted
when working with roughing or cutting
discs.
Place the protective hood 5 on the spindle collar.
Adjust the position of the protective hood 5 to the
requirements of the work process. Clamp down
with screw 6 .
The closed side of the protective hood 5 must
always point to the operator.
Auxiliary Handle
In order to facilitate working with the ma-
chine, the auxiliary handle 2 (optional ex-
tra) can be mounted.
Screw in the auxiliary handle 2 on the right or left
of the machine head depending on the chosen
working method.
Hand Protector (Optional Extra)
When working with the rubber backing plate 11 or
with the cup brush 14, the hand protector 10 (op-
tional extra) should be mounted. The hand pro-
tector 10 is fastened with the auxiliary handle 2
(optional extra).
Mounting the grinding tools
(optional accessories)
Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the power plug.
Use only grinding tools whose allow-
able speed is at least as high as the
idling speed of the machine.
Since roughing and cutting discs be-
come very hot while working, do not
touch them until they have cooled.
Clean the grinder spindle and all parts to be
mounted. For clamping and loosening the
grinding tools, lock the grinder spindle 4 with
the spindle locking button 3.
Activate the spindle locking button 3 only
when the grinder spindle is at a standstill!

Roughing/Cutting Disc
Pay attention to the dimensions of the grinding
disc. The mounting hole diameter must fit the
mounting flange 7 without play. Do not use re-
ducer pieces or adapters.
When using a diamond cutting disc, take care
that the direction of rotation arrow on the dia-
mond cutting disc and the direction of rotation of
the machine (direction of rotation arrow on the
machine head) agree.

Screw on the clamping nut 9 and tighten with the
two-hole spanner.

Do not use reducer pieces or adapters.
After mounting the grinding tool but be-
fore switching it on, check that the
grinding tool is correctly mounted and
that it can turn freely.
Rubber Sanding Plate 11
Remove the protective hood 5 and attach the
hand protector 10 with the auxiliary handle 2 (op-
tional extra).
For mounting, see the illustration page.
Screw on the round nut 13 and tighten with the
two-hole spanner.
Cup Brush 14
Remove the protective hood 5 and mount the
hand protector 10.
The grinding tool must be screwed onto the grind-
ing spindle 4 until it rests firmly against the
grinder spindle flange at the end of the grinder
spindle threads. Tighten with an open-ended
spanner.

The retainer mount-

used on both sides.
For diamond cutting
discs, it must be po-
sitioned on the grind-
ing spindle 4 at a
180° angle.
The drill hole of the
diamond cutting disc
(Ø 20 mm) must fit
the spigot of the re-
tainer
mounting
flange 7 without any
play.
