Machine settings
For default value 1, both feed dogs move by the same distance. The machine achieves an optimal sewing
result for most applications regarding flat and even seams in the default value.
Ruffling/Gathering 1,5 - 2
The front feed dog with the setting value 2 travels a longer distance than the rear feed dog at the constant
speed.
Gathering
This setting for gathering can also be used to deliberately ruffle the material.
> To gather intentionally, increase differential feed to a value between 1,5 and 2. An elongated stitch
length enhances the gathering effect.
