2.3.1 Base Unit (KX-TGP700)

In order to maximize the antenna characteristics, set the antenna to 90 degrees with the
main unit as shown below.

On • The base unit is connected to the Internet. The
startup process is complete and you may now
make and receive internet calls.
Slow • The base unit is being used for a call.
Flashing
• The base unit is downloading data. Do not
disconnect the Ethernet cable or AC adaptor from
the base unit until the STATUS indicator stops
flashing and lights in steady green.
Quick • The resource of base unit (path/DECT session) is
Flashing busy.
On • When the base unit is turned on, the STATUS
indicator lights in red for about 40 seconds.
Slow • The base unit is registering a handset/desk
Flashing phone.
Quick • The base unit is paging handsets/desk phones
Flashing (by using the handset locator button).
