Problem
The handset does
not work.
The handset/desk
phone does not
ring.
It is difficult to have
a conversation
when in Hands-free
mode.

Possible Cause
The battery is drained.
The power is off.
Ringer volume is set to
"Off".
(If the ringer volume is set
to "Off",
is displayed.)
Silent Mode is on.
(If Silent Mode is on, the
icon
is displayed.)
The microphone is facing
the wrong direction or is
obstructed during the
conversation.
Solution
Charge the battery fully.
