Procedure
To remove input power to change the battery, complete the following steps.
Note: Qualified personnel can replace internal batteries without shutting down the
uninterruptible power supply and without having to remove the uninterruptible
power supply from the rack cabinet.
1. Press and hold the on/off button until the long beep ceases (approximately 3
seconds), and then disconnect the uninterruptible power supply.
2. Wait 60 seconds while the internal processor shuts down before you disconnect
the battery.
To replace the battery module, complete the following steps:
1. Remove the uninterruptible power supply front bezel. Press the two side latches
toward each other to release the front bezel, and pull off the bezel.
