2. Loosen the thumbscrew on the metal battery cover (this may require the #5 flat-head screwdriver), slide the cover to the right , and open the cover...

3. Disconnect the internal battery connector and move connector on the battery out of the way and place the internal connector into the holder in the cover door...

7. With two hands (four hands for a 3000 VA battery module), slide the new battery module into the uninterruptible power supply...

8. Connect the internal battery connector - see graphics on previous page for more details - after pulling it out of the holder in the cover door with the connector on the battery. Note: A small amount of arcing might occur when you connect the batteries. This is normal and does not damage the unit or present any safety concern.

10. To attach the uninterruptible power supply front bezel, press the two side latches toward each other, align the bezel with the uninterruptible power supply, and snap it into place.
