9. Install the Wi-Fi card and the shield.
10. Reinstall all removed parts. Then, reconnect all disconnected cables to the computer and reconnect the
power cord to the electrical outlet.

Wi-Fi antennas

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Chapter 1 "Important safety information" on page 1 and print the following
instructions.
The internal Wi-Fi antenna
1. Remove the computer cover. See "Computer cover" on page 61.
2. Remove the front bezel. See "Front bezel" on page 62.
3. Remove the drive bay assembly. See "Drive bay assembly" on page 65.
4. Disconnect the internal Wi-Fi antenna cables from the Wi-Fi card. See "Wi-Fi card" on page 78.
5. Remove the internal Wi-Fi antenna.
