Disposing of Discharged Fluid
4 Check that the drain bottle has been pushed all the way to the back and does not
move.
If the drain bottle is not in the correct position, the drain hose will be misaligned, which
may lead to discharged fluid spilling out.
I M P O RTA N T
If the message "EMPTY DRAIN BOTTLE" is displayed even after you have attached the drain
bottle, the drain bottle may not have been set in place correctly.
Remove the drain bottle, and then attach it again.
Close the panel cover.

Catch the panel cover pins on the notches, and then attach the panel cover.
Press [ENTER].

If the Drain Bottle Exceeds Its Capacity Limit

The drain bottle collects discharged fluid. If you continue to use the drain bottle without discarding
the discharged fluid even though the message "EMPTY DRAIN BOTTLE" has been displayed, the
drain bottle will become full, and the message shown below will be displayed. No more discharged
fluid can be stored in the drain bottle, so be sure to discard the discharged fluid immediately. If this
message appears during printing, printing is stopped.

I M P O R TAN T
When the message [LIMIT OVER EMPTY DRAIN BOTTLE] is displayed on the screen, be sure to
discard the discharged fluid.
If you do not discard the discharged fluid, you will not be able to clear this message.
