Replacing Ink Cartridges

Checking for Remaining Ink

Printing is paused immediately when an ink cartridge becomes empty (with the default settings).
Uneven colors may occur easily if the machine is paused. We recommend that you periodically
check the remaining ink.
Procedure
Press [MENU].

Press [ ] several times to display the screen shown below.

Press [ ].

The amount of ink remaining is displayed.

The numbers indicate cartridge slot numbers.
indicates the amount of ink remaining. When there are more
remaining is larger. The display shows approximately how much ink remains. It may differ
somewhat from the actual amount remaining.
Press [MENU], then [ ] to go back to the original screen.
