Adjusting the height of the feed
dog
The standard height of the feed dog (1) when it is
raised as far as possible above the surface of the
needle plate is as given below.

Turn the machine pulley to move the feed dog (1)
to its highest position above the needle plate.

Tilt back the machine head.

Loosen the set screw (2).

Turn the feed lifting rocker shaft (3) within a
range of 90° from the reference line (4) to adjust
the vertical height of the feed bar (5). (Figure [A])

Tighten the set screw (2).
If you are worried about the angle of the feed dog
(1), turn the feed bar shaft (6) while carrying out
the above adjustment. (Figure [B]) To learn more,
