Receiving Paper in the High Capacity Stacker (Sort / Shift Sort / Stack)

The stacker tray allows you to load the maximum quantity of paper and to move the output paper using
the handcart.
By using the stacker tray as the output tray, the following functions can be specified:
• Shift Sort
• Stack
For details about Shift Sort and Stack, see "Finishing", Copy and Document Server Reference
• The following functions cannot be performed when delivering to the high capacity stacker:
• Reverse Ejection: Face Up/ Down
• Staple
• Punch
• Fold
• Ring Binding
• Output tray settings must to be specified in advance. For details about output tray settings, see p.
36 "User Tools Menu".
• When "Multi-job Output Method to Stacker" is set to [Do not Stack Jobs] in [Output Tray Setting]
under [System Settings], the receiving stacker tray is treated as full, regardless of the actual number
of sheets it is holding, and the Stacker Full Indicator lights red.
Shift Sort
1. Make sure that there is no paper on the tray from the last job. If there is paper, remove it.
