Please note that recorded files can be validated also by third party tools. The SHA256 of the mp4
file is contained as text in the p7m. You can validate the p7m content using third party tools for
signature verification, recalculate the SHA256 of the mp4 and check if this value corresponds to the
content of the signed file (p7m). This assures that the mp4 file is not altered, and you can check who
signed it.
Click on the seal icon to see details of the digital signature. You can also download the p7m file
together with the mp4 file.

Scopia Control Enhancements

Several enhancements have been added in Scopia Control 9.1 (Scopia Control Application for
iPhone/iPad application). XT release 9.1 is required to support Pointer Tool and Chat via Scopia
Control.
Scopia Control Pointer Tool
It is now possible to use Scopia Control to show/hide and move a pointer tool over an XT
presentation. The pointer tool is shown locally and also sent to remote parties as part of the
presentation stream.
Multiple Scopia Control users can control the pointer tool simultaneously.

ValidationStatus
Important
 The automatic validation is done by XT using the current recording signature. If the
video was recorded using a different signature, you need to import the digital
signature in the XT to validate the recorded files.
Note
The video has been validated and the digital signature
recognized as a valid one
The video has been validated, but the digital signature was
produced using a self-signing certificate.
The validation process can be long if the video spans over
several hours. Please wait for a few seconds.
The video or the signature file has been altered. The
integrity of the video is not guaranteed.
Press "Verify Signature" button. If this button is not present,
it means that the recorded file cannot be validated
(signature file not present in the USB storage).
Please note that for security reasons the signature
validation must be repeated once the XT restarts or the USB
storage is plugged again.
