Removal − Installation (Operation 10 001 54)
WARNING
Handle all parts carefully. Do not put your hands or
fingers between parts.
Wear suitable safety clothing, safety goggles, gloves
and footwear.
1. Remove the front and rear retaining screws from
the bonnet stay bracket (1).
2. Remove the bonnet catch support side retaining
bolts (1) and back retaining bolts (2) take off the
bonnet catch and the bonnet stay bracket.
3. Loosen the alternator pivot bolt.
4. Loosen the belt tension adjustment bolt (1).
5. Release the belt tension adjustment arm by
unscrewing the retaining nut.
6. Remove the alternator and coolant pump drive
belt.
7. Unscrew the bolts securing the fan (1) and pulley
to the coolant pump. Remove the fan and pulley.
