Symptom

Water tank is empty
No power at outlet
Bad signal from level sensor
Pump has overheated
Mesh filter is blocked
Pump is worn
Valve on or between tank &

Mains water valve is closed
Blockage in system
Incoming mains water
pressure is greater than

Remedy
Check tank level, wait for rain
if empty
Check power supply, circuit
breakers and plug.
Check installation and operation
of the level sensor.
Allow pump to cool
Switch power off, isolate water
and remove pump barrel union,
inspect/clean/replace fi lter
Have pump serviced by an
Onga service agent or other
suitably qualifi ed person
Open gate valve and prime
pump. Reset WaterSwitch
Prime pump and reset
WaterSwitch
Switch power off, isolate water
and remove pump barrel union,
inspect/clean/replace fi lter
Check mains water isolation
valve is open
Check mains water and tank
water piping for obstructions
Fit a pressure reduction valve to
reduce incoming mains pressure
Switch power off, isolate water
and remove pump barrel union,
inspect/clean/replace fi lter
Have pump serviced by an
Onga service agent or other
suitably qualifi ed person
Have an Onga pump
professional recommend a
larger pump
