WARNING
Risk of service loss
When you restart the system, all digital telephony, IP client voice
mail, and Voice over IP (VoIP) ports are not available until the system
services restart.
WARNING
Risk of leakage currents
You must reconnect the power cord to a grounded outlet before
reconnecting the telephony and data networking cables to the
system.
Action
If you removed the BCM450 main unit from the rack or wall, replace it.
Ensure your BCM450 power supply is connected to your BCM450 system
and to an AC wall outlet or a UPS.
Ensure the telephony cables are connected to the BCM main unit and BCM
expansion cabinets.
Check the Power and Status LEDs on the main unit. After the BCM starts,
both LEDs must be solid green. If either LED is not solid green, a problem
with the main unit exists.
For a detailed description of the LED states, see
LEDs (page
51).
If this system has an expansion cabinet, check the Power and Status LEDs
on the media bay modules (MBM) in the expansion cabinet. Both LEDs must
be solid green. If either LED is not solid green, a problem exists with the
MBM or the expansion cabinet.
For a detailed description of the MBM LED states, see Nortel Business
