Batteries must not be exposed to excessive heat such as
sunshine, fire or the like or extremely low air pressure that can
result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
Stability Hazard
The LCD Monitor may fall, causing serious personal injury or
death.
Never place a LCD Monitor in an unstable location. A LCD Monitor
may fall, causing serious personal injury or death. Many injuries,
particularly to children, can be avoided by taking simple
precautions such as:
• Using cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer of
the LCD Monitor.
• Only using furniture that can safely support the LCD Monitor.
• Ensuring the LCD Monitor is not overhanging the edge of the
supporting furniture.
• Not placing the LCD Monitor on tall furniture (for example,
cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring both the furniture
and the LCD Monitor to a suitable support.
• Not placing the LCD Monitor on cloth or other materials that
may be located between the LCD Monitor and supporting
furniture.
• Educating children about the dangers of climbing on furniture
to reach the LCD Monitor or its controls.
If your existing LCD Monitor is being retained and relocated, the
same considerations as above should be applied.
