HIP ABDUCTION
START
NOTE: Motions Developed: Hip Abduction,
Set Up
1.
Adjust pulley height by grasping mechanism handle, pulling detent pin, sliding mechanism to
desired height. Ensure that detent pin is locked into place before releasing handle.
2.
Stand on one leg, with the other leg attached to the ankle strap and the hand of the supporting leg
holding onto the machine.
Movement
1.
Raise leg laterally as high as possible.

leg holding onto the machine.

Pull the cable across the support leg.
