Fitting the connection set
for surface mounting
- Fit ¾" pipe connectors for heating flow (left) and heating return (right) with supplied
flat gaskets and union nuts. Apply hemp to ½" gas connection thread in centre of gas
boiler and fit pipe connector.
- Push straight-through maintenance valve with locking ring fitting onto left-hand pipe
connector and tighten lightly.
- Push straight-through maintenance valve with connection for safety valve onto right-
hand pipe connector and tighten lightly. Apply hemp to connection for safety valve.
- Apply hemp to one end of twin connector and screw into straight-through gas ball
valve. Push gas ball valve with locking ring fitting onto centre pipe connector and

tighten lightly.

If necessary, the parts can be shifted for the remaining installation steps. When
everything is assembled, tighten locking ring fittings securely.

- Apply hemp to one end of elbow fittings from connection set for surface mounting and
safety valve
fit elbows onto heating flow, heating return and gas ball valve.
- Secure connection panel centrally to gas boiler on the wall.
Observe height of 785 mm.
- Route the on-site pipework for flow, return, cold water, hot water, gas, safety valve
drain and, if applicable, DHW circulation to the connection panel as shown in the
following illustration. The pipes must have a female thread at the end and extend all
the way to the connection panel.

Please note:
- Apply hemp to one end of twin connector from locking ring fitting and secure to on-site
pipes at connection panel.
- Mount all threaded ends on the DHW storage tank type CSW-120 and mount the I/O
nipple of the clamping ring union.
- Warning: I n the case of flat-sealing tank connections AG:
- If no circulation pipe is connected, the connection to the DHW storage tank type
CSW-120 must be sealed with the cap provided.
- Push the DHW storage tank type CSW-120 flush into the guide of the connecting
bracket and adjust with the feet to 790 mm. B18
