8.3 Selecting the Panel Display Language

Select the panel display language according to the procedure below. For details, see Operating Instructions
attached to the CD-ROM.
! You can select one of the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian,
Japanese. The default setting is English.
! If you want to use the English panel display, it is not necessary for you to do the following
procedures.
Procedure for selecting the panel display language
(a) Ensure that the control panel is displaying Ready.
(b) Press ONLINE key.
(c) Press MENU key, and ! or " key to select
Config Menu.
(d) Press ENTER key, and ! or " key to select
Display submenu.
(e) Press ENTER key, and the current setting
appears with an asterisk.
(f) Press ! or " key to select the target setting
option.
(g) Press ENTER key to save the selected option as
the new setting for the printer, suffixed with an
asterisk.
(h) Press ONLINE key.
