Configuring the Synchronous Serial Interfaces
The synchronous serial interfaces are configured to allow connection to WANs. After the Ethernet
port has been configured, configure the synchronous serial interfaces as follows:

Configure the second synchronous serial interface, for example, as follows:

The configuration you entered is now displayed and you are asked if you want to use the

will be entered and saved in the startup configuration:
