BLIND STITCH

1. First finish the raw edge. Do this by
turning it under on fine fabrics and
o v e r c a s t i n g i t o n m e d i u m t o
heavyweight ones.
Then turn the hem up the required depth,
press and pin in place.
2. Now fold the fabric as illustrated.
3. Place the fabric under the foot with the
fold of the fabric positioned so that the
needle just pierces the fold when the
needle swings to the left. Use stitch
width control to fine tune exact position
of needle.
4. When completed, the stitching is almost
invisible on the right side of the fabric.
- Regular blind stitch for normal
fabrics
- Elastic blind stitch for soft,
stretchable fabrics

PUNTO INVISIBILE

1. Per prima cosa finite il bordo grezzo.
Se il tessuto è leggero, ripiegatelo su
se stesso, se il tessuto è medio-pesante,
sopraggittatelo.
Quindi create un orlo delle dimensioni
desiderate, stirate e mettete degli spilli.
2. Ora piegate il tessuto come indicato
nella figura.
3. Mettete il tessuto sotto al piedino con la
piega del tessuto posizionata di modo
che l'ago penetri nel tessuto solo
quando oscilla a sinistra. Utilizzate il
controllo di larghezza del punto per
regolare con precisione la posizione
dell'ago.
4. Al termine, sul diritto del tessuto, la
cucitura sarà praticamente invisibile.

tessuti elastici e delicati

BLINDSTICH

1. Versäubern Sie die Stoffkante: bei
feinen Stoffen umschlagen, bei mittleren
bis schweren Stoffen umnähen.
Legen Sie dann den Saum auf die
gewünschte Breite, bügeln Sie ihn an
und heften Sie ihn mit Stecknadeln.
2. Falten Sie nun den Stoff wie in der
Skizze gezeigt.
3. Legen Sie das Nähgut so unter den
Nähfuß, dass die Nadel mit ihrem linken
Anschlag ganz knapp an der Kante
einsticht. Zur genauen Einstellung der
Nadel die Stichbreite nachstellen.
4. An der Oberseite ist der Blindstich nun
kaum zu sehen.
- Normaler Blindstich für normale
Stoffe
- Elastischer Blindstich für weiche,
dehnbare Stoffe
