10. Remove the memory riser or filler that is nearest to the where the rear USB cable plugs into the
system backplane.
• For a memory riser, lift up and rotate open the two latches at (A) to release the memory riser from
the system backplane as shown in the following figure. Remove the memory riser and place it on
an ESD surface.
