Adding An Access Point; Configuring Wireless Profiles - Avaya WLAN 8100 Series Quick Start Manual

WMS workflows
1. Log into WMS.
2. Select Mobility Domains, <Domain Name>, Devices, Controllers from the menu.
3. Click Join Domain.
4. Enter the system IP address in the System IP Address field.
5. Enter the MDC password in the MDC Password field.
6. Click Finish.

Adding an access point

The following procedure is used to add an access point.
1. Log into WMS.
2. Select Mobility Domains, <Domain Name>, Devices, APs from the menu.
3. Click Add.
4. Using the fields provided on the General and Radio tabs, enter the access point
5. Click Add.

Configuring wireless profiles

The following procedure is used to configure wireless profiles.
1. Log into WMS.
2. Select Mobility Domains, <Domain Name>, Policy, Network Profile from the menu.
3. Perform one of the following Network Profile tasks:

configuration.
• Create a new profile by clicking Add.
• Edit an existing profile by selecting it and clicking Edit.
• Copy an existing profile by selecting it and clicking Copy.
