Into the Docking Station

The Krell KID will self-center and self-adjust for an
iPod-device conforming to the iPod-device 3G,
4G, Photo, or 5G mechanical specifications. With
the KID plugged into AC power:
1. Hold the iPod-device close to a 16 degree
angle, referenced to the top horizontal surface
of the KID.
2. Set the iPod-device in the center of the dock so
it is resting on top of the four acrylic rollers.

When the KID is plugged into AC power, the power
LED illuminates:
Red
The KID is in stand-by mode.

3. Push down on the top of the iPod-device so it
positions itself inside the four rollers and onto
the connector.
When the KID is in stand-by mode, it will charge
the iPod-device battery, if the iPod device is con-
nected to the KID via the docking station (1).
Blue The KID is on, in the operational
mode, indicating that an iPod-device
is connected.
Purple
The KID is on, in the operational
mode, and an iPod-device is not
connected.
