Troubleshooting

If You Cannot Make Prints as You Want

Problem
Misfeeds occur frequently.
Parts of the image are not

printed.
Print shadow appears.
The print image appears too
light.
Scratches appear on the print
image.
The images of drum 1 and 2
do not mix well together.
2nd printing with another
drum is unsatisfactory.
Roller marks appear when
you print onto the reverse side
of paper.

Cause
Improper paper type is select-
ed.
The image is too wide.
The background image densi-
ty is too high.
The print speed is too fast.
Sharp edges in the machine
may have scratched your
prints.
If the image density is too
high, the background colour
might appear strong.
The 1st print image is still wet. Wait until the 1st image be-

Select proper paper type.

tions.
• Set larger size paper.
• Return the drum unit to
the master making units,
and then reduce the print
image size.

for background.
