AC Adaptor Use
• Place the receiver where you can monitor it audibly
either with or without the base. Or, wear the receiver
using the convenient belt clip. Make sure the antenna
points upward for best reception.

• If you will be using the receiver with the base, you
will need to use the AC adaptor. For best reception,
unwrap and fully extend the AC adaptor cord. Insert the
AC adaptor jack into the base socket and then insert
the plug into a standard wall outlet.
• Set the channel switch to the same channel as the
transmitter.
• Rotate the On/Off/Volume dial on the side of the
receiver to the "ON" position.The power indicator
should light.
Helpful Hint: If the receiver power indicator does not
light when it is not in the base, it's time to charge the
battery (see "Charging the Battery" beginning on page 7).
• Adjust the volume by turning the On/Off/Volume dial to
a comfortable level.
• To protect your privacy, be sure to turn the transmitter
and receiver "OFF" when not in use.
