Technical Features

The Premium spas feature a single-phase power supply (220-240
V). All electro-mechanical parts and pipes are enclosed. They have
1 two-speed pump (mod. J-270/J-280: 2 pumps).

The electrical system that powers the spa must absolutely be
sized for maximum consumption (as shown in the table). If suffi-
cient electrical energy is not available, an electronic energy con-
sumption limiter can be activated from inside the electronics box.
This operation can only be performed by authorized Jacuzzi
technicians and limits electricity consumption as follows:
J-210/J-230
- alternative consumption: 3.4 kW (when the pump is run at
high speed, the electric heater goes off).
J-270/J-280
- medium alternative consumption: 5 kW (when 2 pumps are
run at high speed, the electric heater goes off).
- minimum alternative consumption: 3.6 kW (when 1 pump is
run at high speed, the electric heater goes off).

User safety

I
The system, if installed by qualified personnel, does not present
any hazard for the user. Safety is however also contingent upon
proper use, as set forth by the user's manual included with the
product. The user must contact qualified personnel for special
operations described in the manual.
I
It is important to make sure that personnel tasked to install and
manage the system are qualified as per legal requirements in
effect in the country where installation is carried out.
I
Periodically, however, the differential switch (see "ELECTRICAL
SAFETY" chapter) of the system to which the mini-pool is con-
nected must be checked for efficiency. When you press the
TEST key, the switch must disconnect. If this does not
happen, disconnect the power supply immediately and
contact a qualified technician.
I
For any extra maintenance and/or repairs it is recommended
that you contact an Authorized Service Centre and use only origi-
nal spare parts.
Set up for installation
I
The Premium J-210/230/270/280 spas are equipped with
a drain as shown in
®
The customer must make provisions for a ground drainage point
of suitable dimensions and that can be inspected for any cleaning
that may be required.
ATTENTION: Before preparing the ground drainage
point, consult the local authority for the regulations
that control the drainage of chemically treated
water.
I
For periodic draining of the spa, you must connect the hose pro-
vided to the drain (
NOTE:
if you should decide to permanently attach the
MaxiJacuzzi to the ground drainage point, it is advisable to install
