Note
A fitting is supplied to connect the gas pipe to the gas
train.
Note
An on-site fitting in the gas supply pipe is required to
ensure that the burner can be moved to the mainte-
nance position.
1. Open the cut-out for gas supply pipe
side panel, either on the left or right.
Note
If required, create a means of isolating the gas
supply pipe near area

2. Connect the gas supply according to TRGI 2008 or
TRF 2012 [or local regulations].
Connect the gas supply according to
a
ÖVGW-TR Gas 1996 and the regionally appli-
cable building regulations.
Connect the gas supply according to SVGW.

Note
According to the [German] Combustion Ordinance,
a thermally activated shut-off device must be
installed in the gas line. Outside the boiler, a man-
ual gas shut-off device must be provided (not part
of the standard delivery).
Contamination in the gas line
If the gas line has been contaminated, e.g. due to
old pipes with corrosion products, we recommend
installing a gas filter in the supply line.
Note on operation with LPG
We recommend the installation of an external
safety solenoid valve when siting the boiler in
rooms below ground level.

Please note
Mechanically loaded gas supply lines lead to
leaks and appliance damage.
Ensure the gas connection at the burner is
free of load and torque stress.
