Error messages
Your Jacuzzi hot tub features some exclusive functions designed to
protect it from any damage and to provide you with support in resol-
ving any problems.
All of the messages you may see, together with what they mean,
are listed below.
Please only ever request original Jacuzzi® spare parts.
Summer mode
When the actual spa water temperature reaches up to 1 °C above
the set temperature, the spa goes into "summer mode." The cir-
culation pump will turn off automatically to avoid adding addi-
tional heat to the water, eventually creating an overheat condi-
tion. (This setting cannot be programmed by the user).
N.B.: The summer mode does not take effect until the spa water tem-
perature reaches 35 °C. This condition is more likely in excessively hot
weather. Keep in mind that the spa's ability to cool is directly affected
by the ambient temperature: an excessively hot ambient temperature
may prevent the spa from cooling - because its fully insulated con-
struction is designed to retain heat and to minimize operating costs.
Overheating
Water temperature is above acceptable limits.
Do not get into the spa, the water may be too hot.
Pump 1 and the recirculation pump are activated.
- To correct the situation:
Remove the spa's cover and allow your spa to cool -.
Program the filter settings for "Economy" mode. Increase the
temperature setting so as to exit "Summer Mode".
When the water temperature drops below 41°C, the spa will re-
sume normal operation.
If the error persists and the temperature does not fall below
41ºC, contact your Jacuzzi® retailer.
Panel Displays BLB
UV lamp needs to be replaced. The message will flash between "blb"
and the water temperature. The count- timer for the UV lamp needs to
be reset.
Contact an authorised Jacuzzi® service centre.
The panel shows SN1
Open sensor (heater is deactivated) or shorted sensor (spa is deactivat-
ed). The upper-limit temperature sensor is not functioning.
Contact an authorised Jacuzzi® service centre.
The panel shows SN2
Open or shorted sensor (heater disabled). The temperature sensor is
not functioning.
Contact an authorised Jacuzzi® service centre.
The panel displays FL1 or FL2
If the message "FL1" is flashing on the display, it means that the
pressure switch is not working properly, or that the filter is very dirty,
or that there is an air lock in the circulation pump.
A flashing "FL2" display means the flow switch is malfunctioning
closed.
This error will cause the heater to deactivate. The main pump 1 may
also deactivate.
Disconnect the hot tub.
Verify water level is above all jets but below lowest pillow. Add
water if necessary.
Check that the filter cartridge is not particularly dirty (see the
relevant chapter).
Release any air in the recirculation pump, removing the filter
cartridge and inserting a hose (a garden watering hose, for exam-
ple) in the cartridge compartment. Use a rag to "seal" the opening
connected to the pump. Turn the water on for approximately 30
seconds, turn it off and refit the cartridge, checking the opera-
tion of the hot tub.
If the circulation pump is not running, turn power off at the
main breaker, then turn power back on.
If the problem persists, contact your Jacuzzi® retailer.
The panel shows COL
The temperature has dropped 11°C below the set temperature.
Pump 1 and the heater are activated to bring the temperature to 8
C° from the set temperature.
