SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read owner's manual
before operating.
2. Keep unauthorized and untrained
people away from machine during
operation.
3. Make sure all safety devices are in
place before this machine is started.
4. Make sure engine is turned off and

IMPORTANT
SELF-ADJUSTING SEALS PROTECT
PADDLE SHAFT AND BALL
Three easy safeguards
1. BREAK IN
Break in has been taken at the factory. No adjustments or
special procedures are required.
2. MAINTENANCE
Keep drum and spring area clean. Repack with one new ring
of packing and waterproof grease when gland is about to
bottom or when springs have extended to a length of 2 inches.
Retighten springs to 1-1/2 inches.
2. NEW PACKING
Coat shaft and packing generously with a good grade
of waterproof grease. Also pack this grease around
the paddle shaft ball bearings in drum head cavity,
when shaft is removed. Tighten the two springs nuts
on each end until length of spring is compressed to
1-1/2 inches.
