Setting VSW 2VGA A Jumpers

Daisy chaining VSW 2VGA A switchers together requires you to
set internal jumpers.

Disconnect all power to the switcher and any attached
devices. Remove the switcher cover by removing the two
screws on each side.
There are six jumpers (numbered 1 thru 6) that control
daisy chaining on the VSW 2VGA A switcher. See the
illustration below. Both data and power must be daisy
chained from one switcher to another.

REAR PANEL
These jumpers enable/disable pin 5 (control) and pin
9 (+5 VDC) of the switcher inputs and outputs. Close
(enable) the jumper for pin 5 to daisy chain data to the
next switcher, and close (enable) the jumper for pin 9 to
daisy chain power to the next switcher.
The following table indicates the jumpers that must be
closed (enabled) on the VSW 2VGA A when daisy chaining
Input 1, Input 2, and the Output to the next switcher in the
daisy chain. As mentioned previously, the pin 5 jumper
daisy chains the control signal when passing data, and the
pin 9 jumper daisy chains the necessary power to the next
switcher in the daisy chain. See figure 2-8.
