Vehicle Jack

Before storing the ja ck on the felt in
the spare wheel well, the jack arm
m ust be lowered alm ost to the
base of the jack.

W arning!
The jack is designed ex­
clusively for jacking up the
vehicle at the jack tubes built
into either side of the vehicle.
To help avoid personal injury,
use the jack only to lift the
vehicle during a w heel change.
N ever get beneath the vehicle
w hile it is supported by the
jack. Keep hands and feet
away from the area under the
lifted vehicle. A lw ays firm ly
set parking brake and block
w heels before raising vehicle
with jack.
Do not disengage parking
brake while the vehicle is
raised. Be certain that the jack
is alw ays vertical when in use,
especially on hills. A lw ays try
to use the jack on level sur­
face. Be sure that the jack arm
is fully inserted in the jack
tube. A lways lower the vehicle
onto sufficient capacity
jackstands before working
under the vehicle.
