Important!
• If you wish to wake to CD or Buzzer you must set Alarm 1 to the time that you desire to wake to.
• If you wish to wake to Radio or nature sound, then you must set Alarm 2 to the time that you desire.

Wake to CD or Buzzer

1. Press and hold the Alarm-1 Button until the Alarm-1 icon and alarm time located on the lower part of the display
flashes.
2. Press the >> Button or << Button to set the alarm time (press and hold to adjust rapidly). Remember to set the
correct AM or PM time.
3. After you have set the time for Alarm 1, press the Alarm 1 Button or wait approx. 10 seconds to return to the
standard display. The Alarm-1 Indicator will appear on the display, showing that Alarm 1 is on. If the Indicator
does not appear, press the Alarm-1 Button once.
4. If you wish to wake to CD, make sure the disc is inserted correctly into the CD player and the volume is left at a
comfortable level to wake up to. (See Listening to Compact Discs). For waking to the Buzzer, make sure that a
CD is not inserted in the CD player.
Note: Whatever volume level the unit is left at will be the same volume level the CD alarm will reach when it turns on.

Wake to Radio or Nature Sound

1. Press and hold the Alarm-2 Button until the Alarm-2 icon and alarm time located on lower part of the display
flashes.
2. Press the >> Button or << Button to set the alarm time (press and hold to adjust rapidly). Remember to set the
correct AM or PM time.
3. After you have set the time for Alarm 2, press the Alarm 2 Button or wait approx. 10 seconds to return to the
standard display. The Alarm-2 Indicator will appear on the display, showing that Alarm 2 is on. If the Indicator
does not appear, press the Alarm-2 Button once.
4. Using the Function Switch, Tuning Thumbwheel and Volume Thumbwheel, select your Alarm-2 radio
settings to wake to . For more information, see the Listening to the Radio section for this manual.
