For detailed information about components with ground fault monitoring, use, func-
tion and programming, see document 001260, 'Ground fault monitoring' chapter.
The ground fault monitoring is inactive for all components, i.e. 'C bus potential' is
not routed to 'system ground' –> 'C bus' is not monitored for ground fault.
The 'C bus potential' may only be routed to 'system ground' in one station.
The 'control panel' ground fault monitoring may only be active once within an
NOTE
electrically connected C bus network. (Setting basically in station with C bus
address 1)
Control panel module E3X10., operating terminal and/or control plug-in mod-
ule E3G070
Connect the supply's positive or negative to ground for around 10 seconds so that
the corresponding error message is displayed.
The incorrect component is displayed.
Interactive line plug-in module E3M071 / FD20 line plug-in module E3M140/
FD20 line plug-in module E3M141 / E3I040 I-Bus LON plug-in module
Connect the line's positive or negative cable to ground for around 10 seconds so
that the corresponding error message is displayed.
The incorrect component is displayed.
Other components
Connect either of the component's lines to ground for around 10 seconds so that a
general error message is displayed.
The incorrect component cannot be displayed. A ground fault is displayed for
the station.
