NOTE: The infrared sensor board spare part kit does not include the infrared sensor board cable. The infrared
sensor board cable is available using spare part number L71960-001.

Description
Infrared sensor board
Before removing the infrared sensor board, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the infrared sensor board:
1. Remove the two Phillips M2.0×1.9 broad head screws (1) that secure the infrared sensor board to
the top cover.
2. Remove the infrared sensor board (2) and cable.
