3. The internal network cables for your system are installed already, as the
figure shows. If this is a BNC connection, twisted pair is on board.
There are no cables. Optional network kits are available. Contact your
Compaq Computer Corporation representative for more information
about these options.

Connecting External System Devices

To install external devices into; your system, connect the microphone and
headphones into the icon-keyed connectors on the side of the system box, as
shown.
NOTE: Sound, including CD-ROM-related audio, is not audible unless either external
speakers or headphones are plugged in. The speaker plays beeps only for firmware
warning codes. Because beeps are not sent through the audio device, they are not
audible.
