    3.1 Using Device Search Utility If the NVR is placed in a corporate network or a local area network where a DHCP server is already presented, please install the “PLANET IP Wizard II” utility from “Download” of NVR-3685 Web page.

However, it is only used when there is no DHCP server presented in the network.

You could input the search filter with model name, IP address or MAC address, or you could keep them empty to search all cameras.
