Each
set of
·
bogie wheels
is bolted to
ears
welded to the
bottom
of the
chasiss.
Removal of these two
bolts will
alloy the bogie
wheel assembly to be taken out
of
the
chassis. The bolts
are secured by lock wasl)ers
.

The
individual bogie wheels are
rivetted together and
cannot
be
disassembled;
the bearings
are
sea
led
and not
to
require
lubrication.
If
the
unit
is
disassemb
led
all
the
metal
to
metal
surfaces
should
be greased
.
Precautionary Note:
If the
snowmobile
is
immobile
or
stored for more 'than
a week, the
rear of the machine
shoul
d
be raised and
placed on blocks.
This
will prevent the rubber bogie
wheels from
flattening
under the weight of
the
machine.

As you may understand fr

can
not
be
removed
from
the drive
tra
ck
in
this
stage, and

l1erefore,
either of
the
two
pivot
rea
r ar
ms
must
be
removed
.
To
remove,
loosen
the
nut
usi
ng
a
26
mm socket wrench
,
and
remove t he
nut
.
