Sampler Programming Options
1. Place the Samples Per Bottle/Bottles Per Sample toggle switch to the left,
Samples Per Bottle position.
2. Select the total number of individual sample events to be collected per
bottle. Choices for sample events per bottle are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 12.
3. Turn the selector knob to the desired number of samples for the 24
bottles. This number is found in the white inner band labeled 24 BOTTLE.
The bottles per sample mode allows you to deposit the same sample event in
more than one bottle.
Example: You wish to take two 250 mL samples every 120 minutes.
1. Place the Samples Per Bottle/Bottles Per Sample toggle switch to the
right, Bottles Per Sample position.
2. Set the selector knob on 2 in the white inner band.
3. Set the Sample Volume x 25 thumbwheel switch to 10 (10 cycles x 25 mL
per cycle = 250 mL per sample.)
The sampler will fill each of the two bottles with 250 mL of sample. Use the
following equation to determine how long samples will take:
24 bottles
×
------------------------------------------------ -
hour interval between samples
bottles per sample
24 bottles
×
------------------------- -
2
=
24 hours

Therefore it will take 24 hours to complete the sample program.
The sampler delays the start of the sampling program from
1–9999 minutes in one minute increments.
1. Place the EXT-MIN toggle switch to the time cycle mode (MIN) and turn
off the power.
2. Set the desired time delay in minutes on the 4-digit Interval Between
Samples thumbwheel switch and turn on the power.
3. Set the desired number of minutes between samples on the Interval
Between Samples thumbwheel switch.
The 4-digit Sample Countdown LED display will indicate the time delay in
minutes and will countdown in minutes until zero minutes remain, at which
time the sampler will take a sample. To cancel the delay, turn off the unit for
several seconds and turn the unit back on or push the Start-Reset
push button.
