Cleaning the Brush Roll

WARNING
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, turn Power Switch OFF and disconnect polarized plug from
electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting checks.

Remove the contents clogging the
Brush Roll.
NOTE: The Brush Roll may stall if clogged. Unplug the unit and let the unit cool down. You
can then replug the unit in and resume cleaning.

Make sure
the vacuum is
OFF. Press the
release button
to disconnect
the Removable
Floor Nozzle
from the hand
vacuum.
Possible causes
Power Cord not firmly plugged in.
Blown household fuse or breaker.
Filter missing, clogged, wet, or dirty.
Dirt Tank clogged.
Filter not properly secured to filter
frame.
Clog in Brush Roll area.
Brush was stalled.

Turn the Removable Floor Nozzle over
to remove any debris or to clear a clog
in your Brush Roll.
NOTICE: Disassembling the foot cover
will destroy the appliance and invalidate
the warranty.

Remedies
Check electrical outlet.
Check/replace fuse; reset breaker.
Follow instructions for cleaning Filter.
Follow instructions for emptying Dirt Tank.
Follow instructions for replacing Filter above.
Follow instructions for "Cleaning the Brush
Roll" above.
Unplug the unit and let it cool down.
Secure the
Removable
Floor Nozzle
back into the
hand vacuum.
